Freehold Township made history on Wednesday afternoon, earning the program’s first-ever victory with a 24–7 win over Manalapan.

Manalapan struck first with a 12-yard touchdown run in the opening quarter to take a 7–0 lead, but the Patriots responded with composure and control the rest of the way. Freehold Township took the lead in the second quarter behind a pair of rushing touchdowns—Shiloh Harris (#3) scored on a 5-yard run, followed by Geovanna Pecoraro (#11) with a 3-yard touchdown to give the Patriots a 12–7 advantage heading into halftime.

After a scoreless third quarter, Freehold Township pulled away in the fourth. Quarterback Skyler Rausch (#14) connected with Kaylie Fata (#8) on an 8-yard touchdown pass to extend the lead, and Chloe Glickman (#23) added a 5-yard rushing touchdown to seal the 24–7 victory.

The Patriots’ ground game powered the offense, totaling 129 rushing yards. Harris led the way with 46 yards and a touchdown, while Glickman and Pecoraro each added scores on the ground. Rausch contributed both through the air (56 passing yards, 1 TD) and on the ground, helping guide a balanced offensive attack.

Defensively, Freehold Township delivered a standout performance, forcing four interceptions and limiting Manalapan to just one score after the opening drive. Kaylie Fata (#8) recorded two interceptions, while Leila Perez (#21) and Julianna Viesta (#25) each added one. Rausch led the team with seven tackles, and the defense consistently shut down Manalapan’s passing game.

Special teams also made an impact, highlighted by Chloe Glickman (#23), who totaled 68 return yards, including a long return of 52 yards that helped shift momentum.

It was a milestone win for the program and a strong step forward as Freehold Township continues to grow, compete, and Build The Standard.
